We started CareerRehearsal because we were tired of seeing people’s abilities and potential go unrecognized by employers. In any hiring process there are always two sides to every interview:
· Sharing your skills & experience
· The interviewer recognizing your skills and experience as being related to what they’re looking for
What makes it harder is that often, it’s easier to see areas for improvement in someone else instead of ourselves. That’s why we’ve designed a comprehensive process designed to give you maximum transparency into what interviewers are looking for, areas where you are really strong and should emphasise, and weaker areas to improve or minimize during an interview.
Our practice interview process involves 7 steps:
First, we review your CV so we understand your experience and background. We provide feedback on any areas where the CV could be strengthened or clarified.
Second, we set up a short chat to learn more about what you are trying to achieve, and get your input on what you most what to improve, or areas you are worried about.
Third, we conduct a video interview, asking a mix of standard questions and questions tailored to you & your concerns. Questions are a mix of skills & behavioural, and include a mix of those tailored to your experience as well as more general questions from your field.
Fourth, we talk through the interview with you and provide feedback on your answers.
Fifth, we help you workshop answers to address any weak points in the interview, and help you recognise which areas you present really well in.
Sixth, we provide unlimited support for three months after an interview, so you can reach out for help anytime.
Lastly, we’ll stay in touch with several scheduled follow-ups, and connect with you on LinkedIn so we can congratulate you once you land your next role.
